Ben’s football journey began in grassroots football before progressing into the semi-professional game with Curzon Ashton and Droylsden before he moved into management, coaching three men’s teams and developing strong skills in communication, leadership and player development.
Alongside football, ben has spent 10 years teaching sport in schools before setting up his own business delivering PE across Greater Manchester.
I also ran the Ashton on Mersey Scholarship Programme, supporting young players to develop both on and off the pitch.
These experiences shape everything I bring to FCAD.
For me, coaching is about more than football drills — it’s about understanding each player, creating the right environment and helping every child reach their potential, while developing confidence, discipline and a genuine love for the game.
